People Under The Stairs

People Under The Stairs was a legendary independent hip-hop duo from Los Angeles, active from 1997 to 2019. With over a thousand sold-out shows across 40 countries and six continents, they earned a global following and critical acclaim, often referred to as “The Steely Dan of Rap Music.” Collaborating with co-founder Thes One on design was both an honor and a creative milestone. I contributed to visuals that celebrated their legacy, aligning artwork with the group’s iconic, sample-driven sound and authentic West Coast roots.

Work Provided: Art direction, apparel graphics, custom lettering, and logo design. Crafted to honor the group’s legacy while merging nostalgia with fresh, fan-forward visuals.
